This brand new state of the art landmark facility reflects the MTC’s commitment to supporting UK industry in accelerating automation adoption, strengthening competitiveness, and inspiring the next generation of advanced manufacturing leadership. It has been developed to aid the MTCs agnostic support offering to help UK manufacturing businesses adopt robotics and autonomous technologies.

The opening ceremony will be led jointly by Graham Hoare, CEO, MTC and Richard Parker, Mayor of the West Midlands, and will include a guided tour of the new Robot Experience Centre, live demonstrations and technical insights, plus Q&A and Interview opportunities throughout.

Alongside the REC launch, media will have access to this year’s Robotics & Automation Conference, which explores the future of automation and the needs of the UK industrial ecosystem.
