Dr Natasha McCarthy
Associate Director, Policy - Royal Academy of Engineering
Dr Natasha McCarthy will talk through some of the decisions that industry needs to make to build sustainable and responsible AI infrastructure. This also includes utilising systems approaches that situates this major AI infrastructure build within the wider infrastructure needs of the UK, and our ambitious decarbonisation goals. Good engineering and the right policy choices can help to ensure that AI infrastructure meets the needs of UK communities as well as the wider economy.

Nathan Ghundoo
Operations Director - Acteniq
Facilities across the industrial supply chain are adding more and more to their electrical networks. The widespread adoption of EV, alongside the electrification and automation of processes is making the reliability of these networks critical to business success. Nathan Ghundoo, Operations Director of Acteniq, is calling on industry to re-prioritise their electrical networks. Nathan explores how operators of critical infrastructure can move towards condition-based maintenance for electrical assets, reducing costs and improving long-term reliability. Acteniq is also preparing to summit Snowdon to raise money for the Electrical Industries Charity, which offers vital services to those who serve and have served within the electrical and energy industries.

Massimo Fumagalli
COO and VP BU Automation -Lynxeo
Mauro Agazzi
Global Technical Development Director BU Automation - APAC, EUROPE, US - Lynxeo
Introducing Lynxeo - the new powerhouse in automation cables
In modern industrial environments, the demand for high-performance automation cables is being driven by increasingly complex machinery, tighter installation footprints, and accelerated production cycles. Systems involving industrial robots, servo drives and motion control units require cables that ensure signal integrity, mechanical resistance and electromagnetic compatibility in dynamic conditions.
Masimo Fumagalli and Mauro Agazzi explain how Lynxeo has emerged from the Nexans group as the new powerhouse in specialty automation cables, with an industrial heritage based on decades of experience.

Dan Seeney
Cranes and Ports Specialist - igus UK
Dan Seeney from igus UK will present the award-winning iMSPO (igus Mobile Shore Power Outlet). As global shipping faces increasing pressure to decarbonise, the drive to connect ships to an electrical supply so they can switch engines off in port is growing. While fixed shore power electrical outlets are possible, they are proving inadequate for the dynamic and complex layouts of modern terminals. igus iMSPO offers a unique solution to all these challenges.
